NADA trains Educators

14.10.2025

The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) trained a group of Educators. Around 50 participants took the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and exchange ideas on current developments in anti-doping work.

During the event, NADA Germany provided information on innovations in education work and gave insights into its current fields of work. A particular highlight was the presentation by sports mental coach Detlef Folgert, who highlighted the importance of athletes' mental health in anti-doping work.

The German Disabled Sports Association (Deutscher Behindertensportverband e. V.) also contributed with a presentation by Ms Solveig Konrad, who outlined the special features of doping controls in disabled sports, among other things.

In addition to the specialist presentations, participants had the opportunity to actively work on their methodological skills. Together, they practised and discussed activation measures at the TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING information stand and the design of future education workshops.

The training offered participants an opportunity to expand their specialist knowledge, exchange experiences and further strengthen the quality of their education work.

The bi-annual training courses are mandatory for all NADA Germany Educators and serve to ensure the continuous quality assurance of the TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING education programme.

Educators impart knowledge and values relating to clean sport in accordance with the International Standard for Education (ISE) of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Through training courses and information services, they support athletes and their entourage in understanding and responsibly implementing anti-doping rules.
