We take data protection and confidentiality very seriously and comply with applicable national data protection regulations. Please read this privacy policy carefully before submitting your report.
Purpose of the whistleblower system
The whistleblower system (Integrity Line ®) is used to receive and process reports of doping violations or criminal behavior in a secure and confidential manner.
Responsible body and data security
The body responsible for data protection in the whistleblower system is the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany). The whistleblower system is operated on behalf of NADA Germany by a specialized company, EQS Group GmbH Karlstraße 47 80333 Munich, Germany. Personal data and information entered into the whistleblower system are stored in a database operated by Business Keeper AG in a high-security data center. Only NADA Germany can access the data. EQS and other third parties have no access to the data. This is ensured in the certified procedure by comprehensive technical and organizational measures. All data is encrypted and stored with multi-level password protection, so that access is restricted to a very small circle of expressly authorized persons at NADA Germany.
Type of personal data collected
Use of the whistleblower system is voluntary. If you wish to submit a report via the whistleblower system, we collect the following personal data and information:
- Your name, if you disclose your identity, and
- Where applicable, the names and other personal data of the persons you mention in the report.
Confidential treatment of reports
Incoming reports are received by a small group of expressly authorized and specially trained employees of NADA Germany's Legal Department, Intelligence & Investigations Division, and are always treated confidentially. The employees of the Legal Department, Intelligence & Investigations Division, examine the facts and, if necessary, conduct further case-related investigations.
In the course of processing your report or as part of an investigation, it may be necessary to pass on information to other NADA Germany employees or state investigative authorities for the prosecution of criminal acts. Every person who has access to the data is bound to confidentiality and your anonymity is always preserved.
Retention period for personal data
Personal data is retained for as long as is necessary for the investigation and final assessment. Once the report has been processed, this data is deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
