Supervisory board of NADA Germany

NADA Germany's Supervisory Board consits of high-ranking representatives from politics, sport and society. 

The Supervisory Board of NADA Germany holds up to three meetings per year in accordance with the foundation's constitution and rules of procedure. The meetings are not open to the public. The following dates are planned for 2024:

  • 1st meeting of the Supervisory Board of NADA 2024: 30 April (in Berlin)
  • 2nd meeting of the Supervisory Board of NADA 2024: 11 July (in Berlin)
  • 3rd meeting of the Supervisory Board of NADA 2024: 2 December (in Berlin)

NADA Germany's Supervisory Board consists of at least nine people. The term of the individual members of the Supervisory Board is five years, with the option of re-appointment.

  • Prof. Hans Georg Näder (Managing Director of the Otto Bock Group)

Members of the NADA Germany's Supervisory Board

  • President of the German Olympic Sport Confederation or a named representative. Represented by Torsten Burmester (Chairperson of the German Olympic Sport Confederation).
  • Chairperson of the permanent conference of the German Federations or a named representative. Represented by Andreas Michelmann (Chairperson of the German Handball Federation)
  • Athlete Commission of the German Olympic Sport Confederation, is represented by Léa Krüger (athlete, fencing)
  • Minister of the Interior or a named representative. Represented by Dr. Steffen Rülke
  • Chairperson of the Sport Committee of the German Bundestag or a named representative. Represented by Sabine Poschmann (Member of the German Bundestages (MdB) and of the Sport Committee)
  • Chairperson of the sport minister conference of the states or a named representative. Represented by Bernhard Schwank (State Chancellery of Northrhine-Westphalia)
  • Three more members, who are appointed by the Supervisory Board (1-6). They are not permitted to belong to the institutions named under items 1-6, instead they represent the business and science sector. Representatives from companies financially involved in the foundation will be given special consideration. The members are represented by Prof. Hans Georg Näder as Chairman of the Supervisory Board (Managing Director of the Otto Bock Group), Prof. Dr. Christan J. Strasburger (Head of the Area Clinical Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutritional Medicine at the Charité Berlin) and Thomas Berlemann (Chairperson of German Sports Aid Foundation).
