Supervisory board of NADA Germany

NADA Germany's Supervisory Board consits of high-ranking representatives from politics, sport and society. 

The Supervisory Board of NADA Germany holds up to three meetings per year in accordance with the foundation's constitution and rules of procedure. The meetings are not open to the public. The following dates are planned for 2026:

  • 1st meeting of the Supervisory Board of NADA 2026: 27 April (in Berlin)
  • 2nd meeting of the Supervisory Board of NADA 2026: 30 June (in Berlin)
  • 3rd meeting of the Supervisory Board of NADA 2026: Date to follow

NADA Germany's Supervisory Board consists of at least nine people. The term of the individual members of the Supervisory Board is five years, with the option of re-appointment.

Chairman of NADA Germany's Supervisory Board

  • Prof. Dr. Christan J. Strasburger (Head of the Area Clinical Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutritional Medicine at the Charité Berlin)

Deputy Chairwoman of NADA Germany's Supervisory Board

  • Léa Krüger (athlete, fencing)

Members of the NADA Germany's Supervisory Board

  • the President of the German Olympic Sports Confederation or a person appointed by him who is to be a member of the Executive Board of the German Olympic Sports Confederation. This person is represented by Olaf Tabor (Director of Competitive Sport at the German Olympic Sports Confederation).
  • the Chair of the Standing Conference of National Sports Federations or a person nominated by him from the Standing Conference of National Sports Federations. This position is represented by Dr Alfons Hölzl (President of the German Gymnastics Federation)
  • the Athletes’ Commission of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, represented by Léa Krüger (athlete, fencing)
  • the Federal Government or a person appointed by Dr Babette Kibele
  • the Chair of the Committee on Sport and Volunteering of the German Bundestag, Aydan Özoğuz
  • the Chair of the Conference of State Sports Ministers or a person nominated by him from the Conference of State Sports Ministers. This position is represented by Bernhard Schwank (State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia)
  • three further members of the Supervisory Board to be appointed by the ex officio members of the Supervisory Board (Nos. 1–6), who may not belong to the institutions listed under points 1–6, but should in particular come from the fields of business and science, with particular consideration given to representatives from companies with a financial stake in the Foundation. These currently include Prof. Dr Christian J. Strasburger (Head of the Clinical Endocrinology Unit at the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutritional Medicine at Charité Berlin), Karin Orgeldinger (Executive Director, German Sports Aid Foundation) and Dr Michael Rosenbaum (rosenbaum nagy unternehmensberatung GmbH).
