NADA Germany translates prevention videos into sign language

08.02.2022

The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) is now making a large number of its prevention videos available in German Sign Language (DGS). NADA Germany's testing pools also include deaf and hearing-impaired athletes. It is essential that they can also be informed and educated accordingly.

In addition to the films explaining the information on NADA Germany's website in DGS, which have been available for some time, explanatory videos have now been added in DGS on, among other things, the testing process, applying for a Therapeutic Use Exemption, the consequences of doping and the sensitive handling of food supplements.

The content videos are integrated on the website of  TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING under the tab "Infos in Sign Language": www.gemeinsam-gegen-doping.de/gebaerdensprache
