The athlete Owen Ansah has not accepted the sanction notice issued by the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) and has applied for proceedings to be heard by the German Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The proceedings will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the DIS Sports Arbitration Rules and are, in general, closed to the public. NADA Germany is unable to comment on further details of the proceedings, in particular regarding the timeline. The organisation of the proceedings is the responsibility of the Arbitration Court. However, it is important to NADA Germany that the proceedings before the German Court of Arbitration for Sport are conducted promptly and effectively.
