In response to the current discussions surrounding the so-called Enhanced Games, the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) is launching an accompanying participatory campaign on Instagram. “What do you choose?”, NADA Germany is calling on athletes, federations, and the sports community to send a visible message in support of fair and healthy sport on May 24.
The campaign is part of the “Your Sport. Your Decision.” initiative and directly aligns with its central message: health and self-respect are more important than success and financial incentives.
At the heart of the campaign is a standardized social media overlay that NADA Germany is making available to federations and athletes. This can be customized and shared via their own channels. The goal is to create broad digital visibility for the values of clean sport surrounding the so-called Enhanced Games – both in the lead-up to, during, and after the event.
“Especially in times when new competition formats involving deliberately permitted doping are being discussed, it is important to take a clear stand. With this campaign, we are giving the sports community a simple way to visibly stand up for fairness and health,” explains Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, Chairman of the NADA Germany Executive Board.
Participation via social media is intended to spark a broad dialogue and foster a shared awareness of the importance of clean sport. NADA Germany invites all interested parties to join the campaign and actively spread the message.
