Together with the French Anti-Doping Organisation (AFLD), the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA) supported the German-French Olympic Youth Camp (DFOJL) of the German Sports Youth (dsj) with an anti-doping workshop.
The around 35 young athletes and young people involved in sport were first given an insight into the anti-doping system in Germany and France, with both NADA Germany and the AFLD being introduced.
In a discussion and presentation round, the young participants used the Enhanced Games as an example to analyse the possible consequences of a doping release. The aim was to find arguments in favour of and against the idea of the Enhanced Games.
The German Olympic Youth Camp has been jointly organised by the dsj and the German Olympic Academy (DOA) on behalf of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) since 2010. It takes place every two years on the occasion of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and is aimed at young athletes and young people involved in sport. NADA Germany regularly accompanies the youth camp with lectures and workshops on various education topics aimed at the young target group that is so important to NADA Germany.
