The Bundeswehr joins the TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING network

The Bundeswehr has joined the TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING network run by the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany). In a joint statement, NADA Germany and the Bundeswehr reaffirm their partnership in the commitment to clean sport.

Participation in the network enables athletes supported by the Bundeswehr, national coaches and the medical staff involved in the Bundeswehr’s elite sport programme to gain better access to the wide range of prevention and education programmes offered by NADA Germany.

As the largest state sponsor of German elite sport and a key player in high-performance sport, the Bundeswehr makes an important contribution to the development of athletes. Joining the TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING network is therefore a significant step towards providing athletes and other stakeholders in sport with easy access to doping education.

The network approach also offers all members the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of other organisations and individuals within the sporting community, to develop joint projects and to play an active role in shaping the future of TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING.
