The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) welcomed the board of the Foundation for Safety in Sport, Claus Weingärtner and David Schulz, for an exchange in Bonn at the end of August.
The meeting focused on NADA Germany's experiences in the continuous development of its foundation tasks, especially in the area of structural and funding development. The networking of the two organisations is to be continued in the future.
The Foundation Safety in Sport is an operative foundation based in Bochum that has been working for safe and joyful sport for six years. The organisation's goal is to understand how, when and why sports accidents and injuries occur and how they can be prevented. To this end, the foundation works together with associations, sports organisations, science and politics in various projects.
