The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) took part in the NADO Testing Expert Group Meeting in Stockholm. The meeting was organised by the Swedish National Anti-Doping-Organisation (NADO), Antidoping Sverige, which had invited experts in the field of testing to Stockholm.
The agenda covered current developments in the doping control systems of the participating countries. A particular focus of the meeting was on the new World Anti-Doping Code and the associated changes to the International Standard for Testing (IST). Together with a representative from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the participants discussed the implementation of the changes, which will come into force worldwide from 2027.
The meeting is an important opportunity for NADA Germany to exchange views with experts at an international level on doping tests and the doping testing system. It provides an opportunity to learn from one another and discuss developments in this field.
