The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) will be coordinating doping tests at the FISU World University Games in Rhein Ruhr and Berlin, which will take place from 16 to 27 July 2025. NADA Germany will continue to be active in education.
Educational measures and programmes are fundamental to the overarching goal of clean performances. In cooperation with the organisers of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games, NADA Germany is offering several workshops for the participating athletes to educate them about values in sport and anti-doping issues. NADA Germany will be supported by experienced international athletes such as former gymnast Kim Bui and judoka Alina Böhm, who will talk about their personal experiences with the topic.
NADA Germany is also training the participants with the help of an e-learning programme developed especially for the FISU Games. The course is aimed at athletes, coaches and other delegation members of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU Games and covers key anti-doping topics.
Another key element of NADA Germany's educational work is the TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING information stand. Direct contact with the target groups provides the best framework for raising awareness and providing information on anti-doping issues.
NADA Germany is also responsible for the coordination and implementation of doping test measures at the FISU Games. For the first time, NADA Germany will be using a small team of its own testing personnel to carry out the testing in addition to the control service providers working for it.
NADA Germany will also be taking part in the FISU scientific conference. On 18 July 2025, NADA Germany will give a presentation on the use of nutritional supplements in competitive sport and the appropriate use of supplements to an expert audience.
