The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA) has invited the Science Expert Group to Bonn for a meeting.
The meeting focused on current scientific and regulatory developments in the field of anti-doping, including the revision of the 2027 Prohibited List, developments in the detection of peptides and blood manipulation, and issues relating to the future direction of testing strategies.
In addition, the experts exchanged views on scientific challenges within their respective National Anti-Doping Organisations and discussed new approaches to adapting risk-based testing programmes. Another key focus was the joint further development of an international research project aimed at updating the physiology-based risk assessment for various sports.
The meeting serves as an important platform for the international exchange of knowledge and experience and has strengthened cooperation between the participating organisations.
