NADA Germany informs German sports federations about the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code

The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) has informed various stakeholder groups within the German sports federations, as well as other interested parties, about the forthcoming changes to the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC 2027), which comes into force on 1 January 2027.

In a series of webinars, NADA Germany outlined not only the fundamental changes to the Code – particularly regarding athletes’ rights and the rights of minors – but also the most significant amendments in the areas of medicine, Education, the testing system and legal matters. The focus was particularly on the changes relating to Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs), the reform of the testing pool and changes to results management.

In addition to anti-doping officers, NADA Germany also briefed press officers and other key representatives from the federations.

NADA Germany will continue to provide information in the coming weeks and is offering the following events, which will also address the new World Anti-Doping Code and its amendments:
