NADA Germany becomes part of the anti-doping Taskforce for the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games

The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) has been appointed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) to the Anti-Doping Taskforce for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.

The Anti-Doping Taskforce is responsible for ensuring a level playing field for athletes participating in the Games. The main objective is to support National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) in implementing an effective testing programme for athletes. This includes a risk analysis to provide NADOs with targeted recommendations for intelligent testing strategies in the run-up to the Games.

In addition, the work of the Taskforce should help to raise awareness and understanding of doping risks in para sport among the NADOs as a whole.

Karim Chtai, member of the testing department, will represent NADA Germany as an expert in para sport. He was already involved in the Taskforce for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games
