The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) took part in the meeting of the Council of Europe’s Advisory Group on Education in London.
At the meeting in London, the group discussed the implementation of the new provisions of the Standards for Education, which will come into force with the new World Anti-Doping Code 2027. Experts in doping education exchanged views on the forthcoming changes and the associated requirements for doping education.
The Standard has been comprehensively revised to further strengthen and consolidate anti-doping efforts internationally. The Advisory Group on Education played a key role in the revision of the new Standard.
The Council of Europe’s Monitoring Group is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the anti-doping regulations in Europe. It is composed of international experts from the anti-doping sector and the political sphere. To ensure that the various subject areas are discussed and assessed appropriately, there are four so-called Specialised Groups: the Advisory Group on Compliance, the Advisory Group on Education, the Advisory Group on Legal Issues and the Advisory Group on Science.
