
The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) took part in the meeting of the Council of Europe’s Advisory Group on Science in Paris.
The meeting focused on current scientific issues in the field of anti-doping. Among other things, the members exchanged views on the further development of the 2027 Prohibited List and the handling of contamination cases. Other topics included the coordination of research activities and the further development of the international pool of experts in the field of anti-doping research. The scientific evaluation of cannabinoids and questions regarding the further development of detection methods were also discussed.
The Advisory Group on Science provides advice on scientific issues in the field of anti-doping and supports the further development of measures and standards. This includes, amongst other things, the Prohibited List, new scientific developments, research activities, and detection and analytical methods.
