NADA Germany at the meeting of the Advisory Group on Education of the Council of Europe

Michael Behr, Head of the Education Department of the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) and Lara Belke, a team member of NADA Germany’s Education Department, took part in the meeting of the Advisory Group on Education of the Council of Europe in Vienna over the past two days. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of doping prevention work in Europe. Representatives from 33 member states of the Council of Europe, four observers of the Anti-Doping Convention, seven international sports organizations and the World Anti-Doping Agency took part in the meeting. In addition to NADA Germany, these included organizations such as NADA Austria, Swiss Sport Integrity, Antidoping Danmark, UK Anti-Doping, Agence francaise de lutte contre le dopage and many more.

The Council of Europe's Monitoring Group is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the anti-doping regulations in Europe. It is made up of international experts from the anti-doping field and politics. In order to adequately discuss and assess the various subject areas, there are four so-called Specialized Groups: the Advisory Group on Compliance, the Advisory Group on Education, the Advisory Group on Legal Issues and the Advisory Group on Science
