NADA Participates in the Clean Sport in Action Forum

27.04.2026

The National Anti-Doping Agency of Germany (NADA) actively participated in the first international “Clean Sport in Action” forum, which was jointly organized by the International Testing Agency (ITA), the Institute of National Anti-Doping Organizations (iNADO), and the World Association of Anti-Doping Scientists (WAADS) in Lausanne from April 23 to 24, 2026.

Dr. Eva Bunthoff, Member of the Executive Board and Head of the Testing Department, gave a presentation on the panel “Rethinking Communication and Media Engagement in Anti-Doping” and engaged in discussion with over 350 participants from the global anti-doping community. Marco Knipp, Deputy Head of the Testing Department, participated in the discussion panel “Challenges & Solutions for Anti-Doping Laboratories” and contributed the perspective of National Anti-Doping Organizations.

The forum, designed as a platform to improve the quality and efficiency of anti-doping measures, placed particular emphasis on the exchange of know-how. The discussions were grounded in the daily practice of clean sport and enabled participants to directly address practical challenges and solutions as well as potential future prospects. The central goal of the event was to strengthen and harmonize cooperation through direct dialogue between athletes, operational experts, scientists, and other institutional stakeholders.
