The National Anti-Doping Agency Austria GmbH (NADA Austria), the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) and Swiss Sport Integrity have jointly launched the international anti-doping campaign “Mein sauberer Weg” (My clean path) for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina. The campaign focuses on Austrian para skiers Veronika and Elisabeth Aigner, German speed skater Finn Sonnekalb and Swiss freestyle skier Andri Ragettli.
The four top athletes from Austria, Germany and Switzerland show that on the road to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, only one thing counts: the clean path, without shortcuts. The campaign makes it clear that participation in the Winter Games is the result of years of hard work, tireless dedication and unshakeable belief in one's own dream. The campaign focuses on those moments that are far away from the starting line and usually remain hidden from spectators: the athletes' clean path to sporting success.
As part of the campaign, Austrian para skiers Veronika and Elisabeth Aigner are accompanied in their preparations for the Winter Paralympics. The two sisters, already two-time Paralympic champions, impressively demonstrate how they are preparing for Milano Cortina as a team and continuing to pursue big goals despite their previous successes. For visually impaired para-athlete Veronika Aigner, who competes with her sister Elisabeth as her guide, it is clear that only clean performance counts for her.
German speed skater and young talent Finn Sonnekalb is competing in the Winter Olympics for the first time, fulfilling a long-awaited dream for which he has worked hard.
Swiss freestyle skier Andri Ragettli shows what drives him on his way to the Winter Olympics and what is possible when you stay focused on your path. The world record holder knows that when the going gets tough, you have to believe in yourself and never give up.
