The Minister of State for Sport and Volunteering, Dr Christiane Schenderlein, has accepted the resignation of Dr Lars Mortsiefer, Chairman of the Board of the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany), from the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Institute of Sports Science (BISp). Mortsiefer served on the board in an voluntary capacity for one term.
The main task of the advisory board is to provide expert advice on the BISp’s research programme and to set priorities for research funding. Mortsiefer was active in the scientific fields of doping education, doping analysis and specialised biochemistry.
