The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) invited representatives of national sports federations, state sports federations and associations, state sports associations, large clubs and other institutions to a digital impulse event as part of the doping prevention network. Due to the pandemic, the event was held digitally under the umbrella TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING.
During presentations and discussion rounds, the approximately 150 participants received up-to-date information from the field of doping prevention. At the same time, network members were able to find out about NADA Germany prevention activities at the digital meeting. The practical examples presented from the network provided additional impetus for their own prevention work. Three short presentations on the latest developments from the NADA Germany departments of medicine, doping control system and law rounded off the event.
The network approach to doping prevention gives members the opportunity to benefit from the experience of others involved, to initiate joint projects and to help shape the development of TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING. The aim is to win over individuals and institutions in Germany's sports structures to the cause of doping prevention, to gather know-how, to pool activities and to create opportunities for exchange through a wide range of offers.
