Die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) war beim Treffen der Advisory Group on Legal Issues des Council of Europe in London vertreten. Repräsentiert wurde sie durch Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, Mitglied der Legal Group und Vorstandsvorsitzender der NADA.
Der thematische Schwerpunkt des Treffens lag auf der Umsetzung des neuen Welt-Anti-Doping-Codes, dem Thema Kontamination sowie dem Schutz von Minderjährigen.
Die Monitoring Group des Europarates ist dafür verantwortlich, die Umsetzung des Anti-Doping-Regelwerks zu beobachten und die europäischen Interessen gegenüber der Welt Anti-Doping Agentur (WADA) zu vertreten. Sie setzt sich aus internationalen Expertinnen und Experten aus dem Anti-Doping-Bereich sowie der Politik zusammen.

NADA Germany at the Council of Europe's Advisory Group on Legal Issues
The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) was represented at the meeting of the Council of Europe's Advisory Group on Legal Issues in London. It was represented by Dr Lars Mortsiefer, member of the Legal Group and Chairman of the NADA Germany Executive Board.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the new World Anti-Doping Code, the topic of contamination, and the protection of minors.
The Council of Europe's Monitoring Group is responsible for monitoring the implementation of anti-doping regulations and representing European interests vis-à-vis the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). It is composed of international experts from the anti-doping field and politics.
