Auf Vorschlag der Nationalen Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) und mit Unterstützung der Staatsministerin für Sport und Ehrenamt, Frau Dr. Schenderlein, hat die Welt Anti-Doping Agentur (WADA) Dr. Marc Wonneberger, Leiter des Fachgebiets Dopingbekämpfung am Bundesinstitut für Sportwissenschaft (BISp) und Vorsitzender der NADA-Kommission Prävention, in das Education Standing Committee der WADA berufen. Seine Amtszeit beginnt am 1. Januar 2026 und dauert drei Jahre.
Der Bildungsausschuss berät das Führungsteam der WADA fachkundig zu präventiven Themen, spricht Empfehlungen aus und unterstützt sowohl bei kurzfristigen Bildungsstrategien und -aktivitäten als auch bei der Entwicklung langfristiger Präventionsansätze für die Anti-Doping-Organisationen. Zudem wirkt der Ausschuss am Auswahlverfahren für von der WADA finanzierte sozialwissenschaftliche Forschungsprojekte mit.

Germany represented on the WADA Education Standing Committee
At the suggestion of the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) and with the support of the Minister of State for Sport and Volunteering, Dr Schenderlein, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has appointed Dr Marc Wonneberger, Head of the Anti-Doping Department at the Federal Institute for Sports Science (BISp) and Chairman of the NADA Germany Education Commission, to the WADA Education Standing Committee. His term of office will begin on 1 January 2026 and last for three years.
The Education Committee provides expert advice to WADA's leadership team on education topics, makes recommendations, and supports both short-term education strategies and activities and the development of long-term education approaches for anti-doping organisations. The committee also participates in the selection process for social science research projects funded by WADA.
