Bereits zum neunten Mal versammelten sich Expertinnen und Experten der internationalen Dopingprävention zum Education Summit der Penrose Education Experts and Resource Sharing-Gruppe (PEERS) in Colorado Springs. Unter den Teilnehmenden waren Vertreterinnen und Vertreter aus Dänemark, Japan, Österreich, der Schweiz, den USA, Deutschland, dem Vereinigten Königreich, Australien, die Regionale Anti-Doping-Organisation der Karibik und ein Vertreter der Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).
Die Nationale Anti Doping Organisation Deutschland (NADA) stellte in einem Vortrag ihre aktuelle Präventionsarbeit vor. Schwerpunkte waren die Themen Onboarding, Ausbildung und Qualitätssicherung der Educator, die bei der NADA für die Durchführung von Präventionsveranstaltungen verantwortlich sind.
Außerdem präsentierte Michael Behr, Leiter des Ressorts Prävention, der die NADA in den USA vertrat, eine Umfrage unter den Teilnehmenden der Olympischen und Paralympischen Spiele Paris 2024, in der die Sichtweisen der Athletinnen und Athleten auf die Anti-Doping-Arbeit erfasst wurden.

NADA Germany takes part in the PEERS Education Summit
For the ninth time, experts in international doping education met at the Education Summit of the Penrose Education Experts and Resource Sharing group (PEERS) in Colorado Springs. Participants included representatives from Denmark, Japan, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organisation and a representative of the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).
The National Anti Doping Organisation of Germany (NADA Germany) presented its current education work in a lecture. The focus was on the topics of onboarding, training and quality assurance for the educators who are responsible for organising prevention events for NADA Germany.
In addition, Michael Behr, Head of Education, who represented NADA Germany in the USA, presented a survey of participants in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, in which the athletes' views on anti-doping work were recorded.
