Die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) nahm an der Konferenz „Bringing European NADOs Together to Strengthen the National Systems“ teil, die vom Europarat und der norwegischen Anti-Doping-Organisation ausgerichtet wurde.
Im Mittelpunkt der Konferenz standen der Austausch und die Zusammenarbeit europäischer Nationaler Anti-Doping-Organisationen (NADOs), um deren Unabhängigkeit zu stärken und die nationale sowie internationale Anti-Doping-Arbeit effektiver zu gestalten. Diskutiert wurden unter anderem die Rolle der NADOs im Zusammenspiel mit internationalen Sportorganisationen, Regierungen und der Welt Anti-Doping Agentur (WADA). Außerdem waren die rechtlichen und finanziellen Rahmenbedingungen für die Anti-Doping-Arbeit in Europa Thema der Konferenz.
Der Vorstandsvorsitzende der NADA, Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, moderierte einen Workshop zur Zusammenarbeit mit staatlichen Ermittlungsstellen und stellte den europäischen NADOs dabei auch die Arbeit der NADA in diesem Bereich vor.
Ziel der Konferenz war es, gemeinsame Positionen zu entwickeln und die europäische Stimme im globalen Anti-Doping-System zu stärken.

NADA Germany takes part in the Council of Europe in Norway
The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) took part in the conference ‘Bringing European NADOs Together to Strengthen the National Systems’, which was organised by the Council of Europe and the Norwegian Anti-Doping Organisation.
The conference focused on the exchange and cooperation of European National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) in order to strengthen their independence and make national and international anti-doping work more effective. Among other things, the role of the NADOs in interaction with international sports organisations, governments and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was discussed. The legal and financial framework conditions for anti-doping work in Europe were also discussed at the conference.
Chairman of NADA Germany's Executive Board, Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, moderated a workshop on cooperation with state investigative bodies and also presented NADA Germany's work in this area to the European NADOs.
The aim of the conference was to develop common positions and strengthen the European voice in the global anti-doping system.
