In exakt einem Jahr ist es soweit: Am 14. Juni beginnt in Deutschland die UEFA EURO 2024, die Fußball-Europameisterschaft der Herren. Die Bundesregierung unterstützt das Großereignis mit vielen konkreten Projekten und startet heute offiziell die verschiedenen Kampagnen. Das Bundesministerium des Innern und für Heimat (BMI) als koordinierendes Ministerium, wird dabei die verbindende Kraft des Sports besonders betonen. Die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) beteiligt sich gemeinsam mit dem Bundesinstitut für Sportwissenschaft (BISp) mit einem Projekt im Rahmen der Dopingprävention.
Geplant sind unter anderem Interaktionsstände, eine Tagung zum Thema Gesundheitsschutz und Social Media Aktionen. Um zu verdeutlichen, dass Erkenntnisse aus der Anti-Doping-Arbeit auch in weiteren gesellschaftlichen Bereichen und für die Allgemeinbevölkerung relevant sind, werden die Themen „Werte“ und „Gesundheitsschutz“ in den Mittelpunkt gestellt.

Campaign launch for EURO 2024: NADA Germany and BISp involved with anti-doping project
In exactly one year's time, the UEFA EURO 2024, the European Men's Football Championship, will begin in Germany on 14 June. The Federal Government is supporting the major event with many concrete projects and is officially launching the various campaigns today. The German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI), as the coordinating Ministry, will place special emphasis on the unifying power of sport. The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) is participating together with the Federal Institute for Sport Science (BISp) with a project in the context of doping prevention.
Among other things, interaction stands, a conference on the topic of health protection and social media campaigns are planned. In order to illustrate that findings from anti-doping work are also relevant in other areas of society and for the general population, the focus will be on the topics of " Values" and "Health Protection".
