Der Eishockeyspieler Dane Fox wird wegen Verstoßes gegen Anti-Doping-Bestimmungen (Artikel 2.1 der Anti-Doping-Ordnung des Deutschen Eishockey-Bund e.V. (DEB-ADO)) gemäß Artikel 10.2.4.1 DEB-ADO mit einer Sperre von drei Monaten sanktioniert worden. Der Athlet wurde am 22. Dezember 2024 positiv auf die im Wettkampf verbotene Substanz Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) (Substanzklasse S8 Cannabinoide der Verbotsliste der Welt Anti-Doping Agentur (WADA)) durch die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) getestet. Die Sperre beginnt am 17.06.2025 und endet mit dem 16.09.2025.
Alle Wettkampfergebnisse von Dane Fox, die in dem Zeitraum vom 22.12.2024 bis zum 17.06.2025 erzielt wurden, werden mit allen daraus entstehenden Konsequenzen, einschließlich der Aberkennung von Medaillen, Punkten und Preisen, gemäß Artikel 10.10 DEB-ADO annulliert.
Die Entscheidung ist noch nicht rechtskräftig. Die Rechtskraft tritt grundsätzlich mit dem Ablauf des 14. Juli 2025 ein.

Ice Hockey: Decision in the Fox case
Ice Hockey player Dane Fox has been sanctioned with a three-month ban for an anti-doping rule violation (Article 2.1 of the Anti-Doping Regulations of the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB-ADO)) in accordance with Article 10.2.4.1 DEB-ADO. The athlete tested positive for the substance tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) (substance class S8 cannabinoids on the Prohibited List of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)), which is prohibited in competition, by the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) on 22 December 2024. The ban begins on 17 June 2025 and ends on 16 September 2025.
All competition results of Dane Fox achieved in the period from 22/12/2024 to 17/06/2025 will be cancelled with all resulting consequences, including the forfeiture of medals, points and prizes, in accordance with Article 10.10 DEB-ADO.
The decision is not yet legally binding. In principle, it will become legally binding at the end of 14 July 2025.
