Gemeinsam für ehrlichen Sport! Die European League of Football hat einen Vertrag mit der Nationalen Anti Doping Agentur (NADA) unterschrieben und schließt sich mit sofortiger Wirkung dem Doping-Kontroll-System der Stiftung mit Sitz in Bonn an. Schon in der Premieren-Saison der neugegründeten Liga, die am 19. Juni startet, werden umfassende Wettkampfkontrollen von der NADA durchgeführt.
„Wir sind sehr glücklich darüber, dass uns die NADA von Beginn an mit ihrem Doping-Kontroll-System und der Übernahme des Ergebnismanagements zur Seite stehen wird. Da die Organisation und Durchführung von fairem, sicherem und sauberem Sport eines der vorrangigen Ziele unserer Liga ist, stand der Aufbau eines transparenten und konsequenten Anti-Doping-Systems von Beginn an außer Frage“, sagt Zeljko Karajica, Geschäftsführer der European League of Football.
Die NADA steht der European League of Football, den teilnehmenden Franchisen sowie deren Spielern beratend zur Seite und stellen die Durchsetzung einheitlicher, gleicher Standards für alle sicher. „Wir freuen uns darauf, uns gemeinsam mit der European League of Football für den fairen Sport stark zu machen. Ziel soll es sein, zusammen die sauberen Athleten ab Start der neuen Liga zu unterstützen und zu schützen,“ sagt Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, Vorstandsmitglied und Chefjustiziar der NADA.
Die European League of Football startet am 19. Juni in ihre Premieren-Saison, mit Berlin Thunder, den Hamburg Sea Devils, Frankfurt Galaxy, den Cologne Centurions, Stuttgart Surge und den Leipzig Kings aus Deutschland sowie den Barcelona Dragons aus Spanien und den Panthers Wroclaw aus Polen sind acht Teams am Start. Das Championship Game wird am 26. September in Düsseldorf in der MERKUR Spiel-Arena ausgetragen.

EUROPEAN LEAGUE OF FOOTBALL CONTRACT WITH NADA
