Die Welt Anti-Doping Agentur (WADA) prüft derzeit den Hinweis des WADA-akkreditierten Labors an der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln in Bezug auf die Probenflaschen "BEREG-KIT Geneva" der Firma Berlinger. Das Labor in Köln hatte festgestellt, dass es vereinzelt Probleme mit dem Verschluss des neuen Berlinger-KITs gab.
Die WADA hat eine Untersuchung eingeleitet.
Die NADA wurde frühzeitig über den Sachverhalt informiert. Die NADA setzt sich seitdem im Rahmen des Qualitätsmanagements in enger Abstimmung mit dem Labor und den Kontrolldienstleistern für eine zeitnahe Lösung der Probleme ein. Die hohen Qualitätsanforderungen des Welt Anti-Doping Codes und des Internationalen Standards für Labore werden weiterhin uneingeschränkt gewährleistet.

Investigation into new Berlinger sample material

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has initiated an investigation into a potential integrity issue with the new generation "BEREG-KIT Geneva" security bottles after being informed by the WADA-accredited laboratory in Cologne, Germany. The laboratory in Cologne had found isolated problems with the closure of the new Berlinger KITs.
NADA is informed about the facts. NADA has worked closely with the laboratory and testing partners to resolve the issues as part of quality management. The high quality requirements of the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standards for Laboratories will continue to be fully guaranteed.
