Die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) und die International Testing Agency (ITA) haben ihre erstmalig im Jahr 2022 geschlossene Kooperation in den Bereichen Kontrolldurchführung und Intelligence & Investigations (I&I)verlängert.
Die Absichtserklärung regelt die Zuständigkeiten und Verantwortlichkeiten bei der Durchführung von Dopingkontrollen in Deutschland. Ziel ist es, insbesondere im Bereich der international tätigen Sportlerinnen und Sportler Ressourcen effektiv einzusetzen. Der Austausch im Bereich der I&I-Arbeit sowie eine Zusammenarbeit im Bereich des Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) im Rahmen der Vorgaben durch den Welt Anti-Doping Code (WADC) stellen einen weiteren Schwerpunkt des Memorandum of Understanding dar.
Die Vereinbarung ist um ein weiteres Jahr verlängert worden.

NADA Germany and ITA extend cooperation
The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) and the International Testing Agency (ITA) have extended their cooperation in the areas of Testing and Intelligence & Investigations (I&I) , which was first concluded in 2022.
The Memorandum of Understanding regulates the competences and responsibilities for the implementation of Doping Tests in Germany. The aim is to utilise resources effectively, particularly in the area of internationally active athletes. The exchange in the area of I&I work as well as cooperation in the area of the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) within the framework of the requirements of the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC) represent a further focus of the Memorandum of Understanding.
The agreement has been extended for a further year.
